Colleen Soldate brought this action against her former employer, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company (Fidelity National); Fidelity Nationals holding company, Fidelity National Financial, Inc.; and her former supervisor at Fidelity National, Keith Middlesworth (collectively defendants). Soldate principally alleged, under a variety of legal theories, that defendants had failed to pay her overtime wages because they had incorrectly classified her position as "exempt" from overtime compensation. Soldate also alleged sexual harassment and defamation.
